A magical dark substance that turns
"LEAVE ME ALONE"
"GOOD MORNING, HONEY!"
Limescale-containing water can impair the function of the coffee machine and affect the quality of the espresso. Therefore, regularly use special anti-scale filters for your espresso machine.
The optimal dose for one solid cup of espresso is between 7 and 10 grams of ground coffee. The exact amount, among other things, depends on the coffee mixture and the size of the sieve in the handle
Distribute the ground coffee evenly in the handle and press it firmly. If the surface remains uneven, the water will find the path of least resistance, so too little aromatic and bitter substances will be extracted from the ground coffee. Therefore, a flat surface is essential for a good espresso.
The espresso must flow into the cup evenly and continuously, and the preparation should take between 24 seconds and 30 seconds. If the espresso flows too fast, it is not extracted so it tastes sour. If the coffee flows too slowly, it is extracted excessively and becomes bitter.
Before each new preparation, remove the coffee residue from the handle, so that the coffee does not take on an unwanted and bitter taste. For this purpose, before preparing the next espresso, rinse and dry the handle with a special cloth.
